Honest Pool & Hot Tub Reviews for UK Gardens
There’s a particular kind of British optimism involved in eyeing up a six-foot square of patio and thinking, “that could fit a pool.” And honestly? It can. A compact plunge pool is a small, above-ground or semi-inflatable pool — typically 8 to 16 feet across — designed to deliver a proper dip, a cool-down, or … Read more
There’s a very British moment that happens every June: the sun comes out for four consecutive days, and suddenly your patio — the one you’ve spent years arranging pots and a slightly wonky bistro table on — feels like it’s wasting its potential. A compact plunge pool for patio use is exactly the answer to … Read more
Somewhere between “inflatable paddling pool” and “£30,000 hole in the lawn” sits a genuinely useful middle ground, and that’s exactly where the compact plunge pool lives. Somewhere between the Wim Hof documentaries and the gym-changing-room chat about “getting the ice bath delivered,” cold water therapy stopped being a fringe biohacker habit and turned into something your physio, your five-a-side captain, and possibly your nan are all discussing. There’s a particular kind of silence that happens right before you lower yourself into freezing water — that half-second where your brain quietly asks if this was really necessary. It was. Probably. A cold water plunge pool is, in plain terms, a small tub or vessel designed to hold chilled water deep enough for full … Read more
